| I feel I want this sharper or closer but it's good all the same. particularly olie the way you've included the full range of textures of shell, inside shell, nut with skin, nut without skin etc.. |

| Good choice of subject matter and well composed, but I think the textures could have been brought out a little better. (Don't ask me how because I am a bit of an amateur, but I do believe I have seen others do better.) Nice try! |

| Like the crispness and detail in this shot which certainly meets the challenge. I'd like to see another shape or color in there somewhere to enhance the composition. |

| I think this is the best of the 'nuts' pictures. Good focus, great colours. Much more interesting seeing the nuts themselves as well as the shells. I also like that they fill the frame and having an empty shell at the centre really does provide a good focal point in the image. Great stuff. |

| I like the inclusion of the nuts out of the shell and the empty shell. Very good lighting, focus, and composition. Something is missing, but can't put my finger on it. |

| Lacking the clarity of detail that would make this a great shot. As rhythmic compositions go, not a bad attempt. It is, at least properly lit, which alone would put you ahead of the pack |
