 This will probably bomb for the over processing.. but I tried my best to re-create this scene... I had my camera set on iso1600 by mistake, so its really grainy. I haven't submitted in a while and thought I needed to submit whether it was good or bad.. so here goes.. hoping not to win the brown.

The blue in his eyes is a little too much (just a hair over what I think might be more effective). However, the lighting on his face and hand/ring are superb. Plus, this is my favorite movie series (and book trilogy) of all time. Well done.

Maybe a bit to small, but the first of the several in the challenge that I am viewing full size. I do enjoy how the eyes and the ring pop out in the image, but not sure about the soft/blur and the hand appears a bit disjointed as well.

there doesn't seem to be any natural lighting. you've created the the lighting using photoshop and too obvious. the key to photoshop is to not be able to see that it was been used. good try though

i like the glow created by the ring - well done touch. I am not really sure I like the grain in the face, however. The nose and under the eyes seem a bit too pixelated

A little too much image grain for my taste...the lighting seems a bit too dark. I like how you've highlighted your precious, though.
