Probably better then the other orange shots, but it's still not all that interesting. |

Good subject for a texture challenge. I'm not a big fan of the light spots. |

Try more of a rim light and maybe a stem for composition. |

This certainly meets the âtextureâ part of the challenge, but, it could use a single point of interest to make good use of that interesting texture as background. |

You definitely captured the feel of the orange peel. |

Might almost be a plastic orang for all that one can tell here: reflecting the light from a surface, rather more impactfully than simply illuminating it, thends to lend things a certain plastic look, although it can emphasise shiny metallic surfaces too. Here it's removed the organic quality from the subject, for me. Not an attention holding shot though, i fear. |

Maybe a bit close for the focal range, but still looks great |

not much of interest here - seems a bit too orangy and harsh. |

+ Well the orange has texture...
- but I don't think it is very interesting at all. |

I like the texture. The lighting may have been better if a little more diffused. |

The picture ends up being a bit "flat." Maybe a little more context, or a different angle would help. |

You really captures the texture of the peel but the light on the right is a little over powering. (6) |

Little oof and the lighting is harsh. Because this is a common entry it would have to be perfect to score high. I don't think this is a bad try it just needed to stand out and be sharper. Your color is good. |

may have benefitted from only being lit from one side , with two points of light it flattens the image and doesn't give any good shadows, it also doesn't look so spherical., focus, colour etc all very good though |
