I think that I will get hit for the eyes being drooped too much but I think that the picture is cute. I think the problem is working with children, It's always a hard thing to get a child to look like the picture in your mind.

As far as placing... I'm going to guess in the 40's

WOW - 11th... I'll take that. Picture was taken outside with ambient light. The background was a white towel edited with a blur to pull out the wrinkles. Blue came from adjusting the contrast and exposure.

I already commented on this one during voting, but back for another thought since you put it in the 'sweet/sour' side challenge. Good use of centered crop and nice job with the bright colors and blank background. I think the eyes are a bit too much pulled down - but as you said, working with kids can be tough. Nice work (and nice finish)

Not sure what you mean with a twist, but I have to say I dislike how his eyes are being pulled down and droopy. The image itself technically is very sharp and strong. Yet, from the movie he did this famous pose when he put aftershave on his face and it burned. This gives me no semblance of the movie and without the title I wouldn't have made the connection.

Very well photographed - good focus and great facial expression. I think the title doesn't quite work for me - I would have lost the (with a twist) - it distracts the connection to the original.

This is pretty good. The only thing I woulda done different was slick the kids hair back with water. If I remember it was in the movie. Never-the-less, good pic.
