 THE IMAGE: This was a very expensive image. My D200 fell off the tripod and did damage to the attached new Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens. OUCH! I also had to buy a bracket and clamp for my SB600 flash. Oh well...it's an obsession.

I lit from the side using the SB600 and I had a desk lamp on the other side throwing some warmer light.

I didn't have a Gremlin but I had a furbie...Hopefully, people will pick that up but not punish me for it.

Camera was on a tripod using a self timer. I tried about 40 images to get the one I wanted.

THE EDIT: Cropped, Dodged and burned, Noise Ninja, that's about it. Hopefully I didn't break the rules with by d and b. I also did a slight saturation adjustment.

PREDICTION: About 6.2???

POST: Wow, probably one of my worst results for a long, long time...looks like I have really lost my Mojo since I travelled overseas in October! I actually thought it was OK...

great recreation of the one sheet. this was one of my favourite films when I was younger. would love to see a modern sequel (lets forget about the dreadful Gremlins 2 huh?) using up to date CGI. maybe it would lose some of its appeal if it was CGI. anyway, I am rambling now. great shot, hope it does well. 8
