I had this photo finishing much higher. It is a bit oversharpened, perhaps, but I think to good effect.

Doesn't look like real texture...just looks to me like you must have manipulated it a lot in some photo editing program to get this effect.

Quite contrasty (a good thing), and good on the colour tones. Detailing seems somewhat squashed - as though this were a near 1:1 magnification off the sensor, which loses some sense of feel in the textures.

I really like the colors here, and it's a nice effect how the subject is in focus on the right, then fades out of focus to the left.
