Rich, congrats on the 132 place finish. This is a pretty cool pic, not your usual still shot, but I thought this pic and the pic that came in 259th were about equal. Lowcivicman got shafted as he says. I saw many pics between yours and his that were not as worthy as his. But, congrats on the finish anyway.

Good capture. I like the lighting on this -- it fits with the action |

Great capture, with nice composition. Although brownish in color it doesn't have the feel of a duotone. Maybe converting this to B&W and then adding the brown tone would have helped. I for sure don't think its DNMC, but believe you will get those people that feel it is. 7 |

Beautiful shot - perfectly focused, converted etc. Is there no way that it could have been cropped to include the top of the antler? No matter, this one gets a high score! |

Nice action, but maybe a bit too close, or too low? As it is, the rather large patch of hillside/grass at the bottom left doesn't really add to the image, but the antlers are cut off. The light looks slightly harsh also, especially on the grass and horns. I don't know if you used a polarizer, but if not, it might help to use one in situations like this. |
