Hi from the critique club
I am not trying to be unpolite or to bash your photo with my critique.
With checking the box that you wanted a critue you asked for honnesty and that is what I am trying to give. Please dont be offended by my comments, it is all just to try and help you.
Ok, the 1st thing that I noticed is that it is b/w
I strongly think that voters will expect some other tones then b/w and I think that has lost you some votes.
2nd this could be a great landscape in color, but these tones dont do the landscape justice I think.
You have to capture voters with your entry and "hit them in the face with it" make it simple, make it strong, put something in your photo that makes it unique and you will see your votes go up.
All in all not a bad picture but it could have been better and I hope I pointed out what I would have done. Believe me, I am only one person and I dont know everything, so see it as it is. I'ts one persons view.
And as alway's, if YOU are happy with the photo then it is OK, you cant please everybody. |

Great DOF, nice scenery. Unfortunately it looks like you purposely underexposed this image to add to the duotone effect. I do not feel that this is paricularly effective on this shot. I would love to see this shot with lots of contrast. |

Would like to see a broader range of tones. |

Nice use of the rule of thirds. I think the overall image could have been a bit brighter which may have given it more impact. |

I guess you wanna show the endlessness. Yes, this is a nice scenery. But in this challenge it would be a tad to boring. A interesting subject (perhaps a flying bird or something else) would pop up this imgage. |
