Browsing through your food collection this morning was a mistake... I'm starving! Excellent stuff as always.

This is making my mouth water too. I need to set up another date with Aimee to hit our sushi place. Wish the colors were a little deeper on this one though.

Nice photo, I like all the white but some of the sushi's color seems a little washed out. I would love to see some fancy chop sticks perched on the side of the dish in the background.

The depth of field looks surprisingly shallow for this to have been taken at f/10. While I like the high-key treatment, my only gripe would be that the plate and sauce dish blends into the background a bit too much. If you could have kept a little more edge detail I think it would enhance the photo some. But of course that is just my opinion, and there are probably others that would disagree with said opinion. Overall the image looks very bright, and I wonder what would happen if you added a bit of contrast to it to make the colors pop a bit more. The flash or lighting effect on the Wasabi takes away from the detail of the spicy paste.

Overall you have captured a plesing image of a food that I love to eat. I just think a bit more contrast would make it that more appetizing!

I hope that you do not mind, but I wanted to show you what I was talking about with my commments above. I downloaded your image and made the changes to it that I was talking about. I apologize in advance if I have violated your space in any way. I also do not in any way claim to be anywhere near as good as you as a photographer or photo editor, I just wanted to show my personal taste of how I could have done this photo if I posessed the skills to take it in the first place. I will be more than happy to delete this photo immediately as well as this comment upon your request.
