| The depth of field is way too narrow for a shot with so much detail around the edges. It also seems a bit underexposed, the mid-tones could be brought up a bit. |

| Interesting subject to use for a texture challenge. Feels like the scales of an animal. Would love to see more details in the coins themselves. A little more focus would helps to keep the shot even more interesting, but otherwise a good idea. "7" |

| For me, a shot like this needs to be well lit and in super sharp focus. Not a bad attempt though. |

| Your use of angled lighting did bring out texture here. To make this shot a bit better (imho) a bit bigger dof would help me get more texture (as the softness of focus loses the texture) and the lighting could be stronger - I find it a bit dark) |

| just personal preference, I find it very busy and the form of the money stands out more than any texture. |

| Interesting approach - quality of image has let this down a touch, as that detail that would really show the texture has disappeared. You have kept some tactile quality though, which is good. |

- The photo is dark, DOF can be improved a lot, composition isn't very appealing.
