 Second time I've entered a photo of this temple, we'll see how it goes this time around. Would've liked a larger aperture for this, but I didn't have a tripod with me, and no place to set my camera with this composition.

I think you did mighty well with that aperture.
It looks like this is a replica of the famous templle in Japan (which I haven't be too...) that is featured on the 10 yen coin (and the phoenix statue on the roof is on the new 10000 yen note.)

This is just sweet, I love the composition and the tone. Lots of detail it appears is lost due to the size. The setting is just incredible. My only 10 of the challenge. Nice work.

This is beautiful. Lovely toning, excellent reflection. I love the oof trees (or is that mountains?) in the far background. Fabulous! 10

this photo is impressing on many levels, i love the range of tone quality not that it reaches the extreme blacks or whites but because it doesn't and still looks great. i like the composition and the reflection. It has a nice balance. This is a very peaceful image too, the sky, water and deserted looking structure. very nice. 8
