| The background being much brighter leads the eye away from the main subject. One of the widest borders I have seen and I am not too sure about it. The hand is more well lit and seem more in focus than the face which is a shame |

| It looks like you were going for a moody type image here. Unfortunatly by underexposing it to get that effect, it makes the shot sort of "muddy", and it loses it's appeal to me. The frame is also much too large IMHO. |

| I think the border is the first thing that jumps out at me. Its a bit extreme IMO, because I think you have captured a great expression. A slight boost of contrast would have helped also. I really like your composition and the vignetting around the image, it all works great except the border. Still a 7. Nice work. |

| I find the composition of this shot very attractive. Her hair hanging down through the light in the back is nice too. I wish the image was lighter overall so that I could see her little face better. The white portion of the border is a little thick too IMO. But a very sweet image. |

| The pout has been lost a bit in the dark tones. The border is excessive, use those pixles for the image!! |

| there seems to be a focus issue and the highlights are dark and muddy. if you use levels you can fix that |

| Not sure if the huge border was needed. The photo has enough emotion to stand on itself. |
