| This is a well taken photo. However, I don't feel the texture which is a pity. Suspect the lighting is the problem or maybe just soem sharpening woudl make a difference. |

| Very nice closeup of a feather. The ridges or strand of the individual textures of the feather was captured beautifully. Love the great colors. The shadows and the highlights helps to bring out the details. |

| Actually doesn't communicate much sense of texture to me - perhaps the way you've poushed the levels and contrast don't allow for that sense of fine detail that would do that. It's an interesting and very assured photo, don't get me wrong, but leaning a touch too much towards the graphic (and therefore two dimensional), than the photogrphic, if that makes sense. |

Nice idea but IMHO feathers say colour and texture and I would have liked to have seen the colours with greater strength. As for texture I wonder if a little more sharpening would have helped or is it a touch OOF.

| such great texture - solid image. To make it better - some pixel drop out (I know you can't spot edit), a flater background (right now it's so bright it detracts fromthe image) |

| It does show texture. The right edge of the feather somehow detracts for me....some kind of fringing or of focus line. (I'm sure no expert!) I would have liked maybe a different background. |

| Good job! I like the texture here. Had you noticed the edge in feather bottom? I may be result of lens chromatic aberation, corrected or not. It´s common to highlights edge like it. The picture is very good and you can´t remove this edge within the rules! Don´t worry. |
