 This is the back of a leather jacket. I started shooting it and realised that the seam on the back looks like a road.

Very interesting composition. I love the way you have the seam of the article of subject. Lighting really gives a great sense of the texture of the leather. The highlights and shadows captured really make this shot what it is. Not going too shallow of a DOF would improve this a bit. "9"

Whilst there is some sense of texture, I get no real sense of contrast from this - it looks simply underlit, or exposed, although I'm sure your white points are indeed white.

I do like how this is presented and how it goes with the title. Good ilghting of the leather. Not something I'd personally frame and hang, but well done methinks.

Seems to dark to me and needs more DOF, but nice idea. Color would have emphasised that it's leather more also, IMHO.

Simple idea and good title. I would only of liked the focus to be a bit more sharp and the light extended a bit. Good luck in the challenge.
