 This picture was taken at night with my digital cannon rebel EOS. On manual mode. Minor level and color adjustments were made on the whole picture to eliminate some red tones from nighttime shooting, I also cropped this image because I do not have macro lens.

Good DOF to blur the background, however the focus could be sharper. Nice texture

No clarity of detail - focus fine, but somehow the fine stuff isn't there. Diffucult to percieve texture then. Quite a neat subject, but not convincingly presented.

Good choice for the challenge, seems a little softly focused. Would have liked to have seen it sharper to let us see more texture. Not too sure of the border though...
