so, i was sitting on my patio and i noticed this perfectly heart-shaped leaf on the floor. i looked around at the trees and there wasn't a tree in my yard that had leaves with that shape. then i looked at all my neighbor's trees...nope...no heart-shaped leaves on those trees either. i took it as a sign. this photo was calling out to be shot. ;-)
pretty straightforward processing. i experimented with different textured backgrounds. this is the floor of my garage. i think this is a rust stain...lol...i thought the colorations and textures were interesting, though. the duotone is Pantone 465-C. cropped, adjusted curves, cloned a few weird looking spots, added some noise because the ISO accidentally was set to 1600 and i wanted to even it out, dodge and burn, resize, heavy sharpen on a dupe layer, lower opacity then gaussian blur on a dupe layer, lower opacity. |
