Exposure is pretty bad, and the pine-cone is not very interestingly displayed here. |

Backlit images are tricky. Cameras have a difficult time metering in these situations. Sometimes it helps to use manual and underexpose by a fair bit. There is a bit of foreground bokeh here, but it's minimal, and it doesn't really "enhance" the image. (5) |

Looks like you were shooting into bright sunlight here. It gives the image a very unfocussed look. Good luck, anyway. |

This looks very washed out on my monitor, so it's hard to tell where there's focus and not. Composition is OK with a nice leading line to the pinecone, but I think you needed a faster shutter speed to keep this from being overexposed. |

This one doesn't quite make it for me. I don't know if this is through some fiber/material, but I can't define it so it just doesn't work for me.....sorry....4 |
