I think you could have met the challenge recquirements in a lot more creative way than cropping out your tree, but still a solid 7

A low angled image does not make for a topless image. Even the the yellows, oranges, golds, browns are nice. They seem a bit out of focus for me.

If you hadn't have pointed out that the top of the tree was cut off...I might not have noticed.

This is a nice picture but I don't think a tree with the top cropped off has the effect of 'topless' that I'm looking for. Sorry
