Quick set up, shot and processing of idea that came to me on waking up the day of the deadline for challenge entries for this one.
Going for a low key feel, with no external lighting, handheld with my new macro lens. Not a very creative subject, but one I've wanted to shoot, and a bit oversharpened on the bulb, but I had to leave for work and didn't get a chance to re-process. I'm guessing around a 5.6 or so.
No cropping, just levels, contrast/brightness adjustments, desat, resize, usm, neat image, border, s4w. Would have liked to remove the cord and smooth the wrinkles in the background, but this is basic, so just tried to play with contrast and brightness to make those disappear ... |

| Interesting idea, I enjoy how the light itself isn't blown out with lots of light trails. Not sure I care for the background, maybe if it was farther way and ended up solid black. Nice idea... might use a bit of sharpening as well. |

| Nice subject & looks good in B&W. Looks slightly oversharp & it may worked still better if you can avoid the cable, wrinkles on the backdrop in the image. |
