There was hardly any photoshoping done in this. Cloning out sensor dust realy ins't photoshoping. But Yes. I did use a healing brush. I just used neat image to take down some noise then did some leveling work. And some unsharp masking made it ready for submission! Not even any curving stuff was done here! To get the clear drop of water to stand out agenst the white of my sink I took these steps:

1) Set up my camera with a 50mm Macro
2) Set a lamp next to a sink
3) Got drops of water to come out of the focet
4) Filled the sink with water
5) Set white balance to Automatic
6) And camera mode was on Macro with the little flower. (Making sure the flash was on)
7) Put a pillow case over the lamp with a 60 watt bulb to dim the light
8) Click!

Thanks for all the votes guys

This is well captured, but the overall greyness of the shot makes it rather dull. The orange tone in the reflection doesn't add anything. A tighter crop may have helped this a bit.

This looks so familiar but it's still beautiful.

Of all the drops pix I have seen so far, this is the best. The color is soothing, no garish colors in the background and that tiny water blob up top is just icing on the cake.

I don't think I ever want to vote on another drop shot again - far to many of those around. Sorry...

Nicely caught droplet - so difficult to it make it "artistic" - but Good Luck!
