 This was really only one of 2 photos out of 300 some that the drop was really tack sharp. It is a drop of milk that was dropped into water dyed blue with food coloring. Far from original but like Techo said in a forum "Let the best drop shot win ;)" ! Hopefully that's this one. lol

For editing I adjusted the levels just a tiny bit to blacken the black just a bit. Then I ran CS3's noise removal filter, cloned out a small reflection, and applied USM.

What a lovely image with wonderful colour and clarity. I can't understand it when people say they can't look at another drop shot. When it's as well done as this, it's a pleasure to look at.

This is one of the better liquid drop shots in this challenge. The excellent contrast with the background, the singularity of the column and the gradation to white make this a top shot. Well done.
