A good decisive moment you managed you capture. I like the competing colors as it really gives balanace to the photo. I would be tempted to crop out the crowd on the top and make it more of a 8x10 landscape. Still good stuff. |

Wow. I am surprised that this scored so poorly. The focus is right on, the brightness is there, it is a tough shot and you nailed it all but the ball. It's a good thing you don't grade your students so rigidly. |

I really like sports shots and this is a good one as it really catches a slice of the action.
I like the way that you have made the colours so deep and vibrant (especially given that this looks like a night time game played under lights). Nice composition as well
I guess where this may have suffered is the fact that the red players (especially the one catching the ball) appear to have a bit of motion blur which people may have marked down (despite the fact that yellow top is captured sans blur)
Definitely not a sub 5 shot! |

I love the composition of this shot. It's almost as if you designed the shot and painted it. Great capture under very difficult conditions. The first thing that caught my eye here is the incredible color -- the blue and gold almost jump off the screen. I am amazed at the score, and I can only guess that people knocked it down because of the motion blur. |

It IS a great catch! I am quite impressed with the lack of noise based on your "high ISO". |

Nice shot, especially given the circumstances, and anyway im not a big fan of 'wow'. I think anything bad you could say has been covered by previous commenters. |

Solid capture. The focus on the center subject is spot on. Would like to see the ball in focus as well, but the player is paramount to the ball. Good job. |

Th photo came a bit blurry. I can never get night photos to come out sharp. |

I think this would be better if all the players were in focus. JMO. |

Captures motion but needed a higher shutter speed to cut down on the blur. |

The lighter "halo" around the ball & subjects' arms is distracting to me |
