Just back from a fantastic visit to Kansas. Decided to go out and do a shoot for the stop motion challenge but I was having a bit of trouble deciding what to take when cfarrell very very kindly offered to do some jumping in the air for me and this is the outcome

This may not do particularly brilliantly in the challenge but will always be a shot I love as it captures the inate and wonderful sense of fun of the subject

Jon - this is a GREAT photo and I am surprised it did not score higher! Love the energy you captured here and a wonderful job with the stop-action. Charlene's a good jumper lol

great picture, just remember the closer to the ground you are, the higher it'll look like she's jumped.... just a thought ;-) 7

A little closer and you would've captured the subject's expression, which I think this photo needs. the shadows are a little strong. Great job on the rule of thirds of the background.

Great colours and contrast, timing is spot on. I would have placed the model on the right of the photo though as she looks now to be jumping out of the frame. A minor detail though I'm sure!

The trees in the background are a bit distracting. Sharp photo though, the border does a good job on keeping your eye on her.

If you had used a lower camera angle so the subject had clear blue sky in the background this would have been great.

This is great....was a polarizer used in this shot?

Motion stopped, but the image (and frame) does nothing for me.
