I'm happy that I found this one. This is a very good scene, with man's construction transposed on a naturally beautiful place. Much to see and be interested in is included in this shot. Technically very good too. I like the lighting and processing. Good choice of shutter speed to show the speed of the discharge streams coming from the turbines.

Very complex photo. POV and delivery of detail make it almost surreal; station stands out in a dark natural scape - dark trees, dark green blue river, slatey blue rocks on either side, all great elements. And so strong and sufficient in themselves that I would crop that bit of sky and sunlit treetops, or subdue them, although I know they provide context.

Nice! Love the rocks in the foreground and the fast water from the station. Really a lovely scene.

Like how the whiteness of the building and the water stand out from the rest of the relatively dark scenery. Rocks are great.

That's not steam. It's high volume, high velocity water coming through the turbine to create electricity. Notice the pipes going up the hill behind the building? Those are carrying water dowm to the turbine from a higher source.

Think what i like most about this is the rocks in the fg.. AND the angle from which u took the shot..
Well alright lets cut the tree out in the front.. or trim it back..

composition is good. my only nit is the small tree on the right. I keep saying I'm going to add limb cutters to my portable photography kit! I think they are needed on this tree.
