After Challenge - Thanks all for the comments, I expected somewhere between a 6.2-6.3, so it definitely worked out, just need to keep climbing the ladder now ;)

Shot was HDR processed, threw in a gradient and pretty much called it a day.. was also the only airbus that flew by in the timeframe I had allocated, small island :D

I like the sky, something about the picture that's gets more interesting as I look at. I wasn't intrigued at first glance.

The tilt of the image bothers me a bit. It doesn't seem to be enough to be deliberate -- just seems a bit off.

A lovely wide angle is a little cliche for planes but works so well. Lovely sky colours and foreground detail. Perhaps a lower camera positon to the ground would have increased the foreground effect for an even more striking image. Perfect composition in terms of position of the plane in the image and allowing enough empty space on the right hand side for it to "fly" into

nice image, too bad the wing of the plane is not in the frame.

Good capture on the plane. The horizon could use some straightening without negatively affecting the plane.

I really like the tone mapped look. This is really a sweet shot. I like the composition and angle in this shot. Well done.

The aircraft pops out really well in this one. A little too cropped on the left side for me, but the depth of colours and contrast is great.

Nice capture, the body seems bright compared to the engines

there are two things that I don't like here. first, unfotunately the airplane is cropped. second, I don't like the crop of the image. I think that there is too much sky on top. as personal opinion I think that if you cut 2 cm on top the image is more better. 6

Cool perspective. The portrait style mutes the effect though. I assume you did that because of surrounding clutter. That said still a good shot.
