Great job, worthy of the opportunity of sunlit lines o geese. Like best the sky, the geese aloft and that great yellow strip of marsh. |

Dang it Roger, you're making me salivate! The Pacific Flyway is right where you live - and you have first pickings at all the really, really good pictures. Like this one.
Well, I won't get there in time for this side-challenge, but I'll get there this year. That is a promise.
In any case, this is spectacular. Thanks for showing it.
And one more thing, the farmers used to burn those rice field left-overs instead of flooding them for the wildlife. I understand the waterfowl are saying "thank you" and their numbers are actually improving after decades of decline.

OH MY Gosh!! Our geese have been leaving over the past mos and yours are just arriving.. Ours head towards the CArolina's..
The Farmers flooding the fields for the geese is really great..We have a huge natural reserve area for geese thousands of acres, but they land anywhere that there's water in ponds, lakes, resevoirs,etc..
The lighting is dramatic and the scene is Beautiful.. |

The light in this is interesting with the gray skies but the golden glow on the field. I do like the overall gold tone of it. |

The sky certainly looks ominous in this shot, but the geese look very happy. That is a lot of geese. We never see them in Florida in the wild. |
