First serious photo ever taken. Kind of depicts how I feel on this site so the challenge was personally appropriate. ;)

Lighting was from a curtained window and a 60w desk lamp with a t3 bulb. I tried to get the light low to lengthen and soften the shadows indicating a later time of day. Don't know if it worked.

Editing was a basic crop and resize.

I like the setup. Maybe it's my memories from preschool, but there is just something disturbing about seeing clay on (felt? carpet?). All those stray fibers get in and ruin the clay! Regardless, it's a unique take on the challenge and well executed--7

Interesting idea but the clay seems more out of place than alone amongst the plastic beads. Makes more sense with beads of a natural material. Also, is it coincidence that the black and white beads are paired? Couples?

I like the colour emphasize but the two objects don't connect - beads and clay?

Aw, you gave it a little face! Not sure I like two different colors of beads as his crowd as much as I would have liked one, but he definitely stands out.

Interesting composition. The lighting could be improved. The DOF is too shallow.
