| Wow. I love this. For reasons I can't explain this is my favorite image in the challenge. It reminds me of the 80's I guess. It's just the perfect capture of what it is. I don't think it's the best at meeting the challenge, but that's fine with me. Love the pose, the look, the style, the hair, the grain. 10 |

| This could be titled.."strike a pose" It's almost journalistic and has a good feel. I like the grain and tones. Not sure I see conflict, but it's interesting. |

| I believe you were aiming for the conflict between the title of this photo and the appearance of the subject. However, if that's what you were aiming for, I can't really see the expression (eyes) well enough to say for certain that it conflicts with the title. I think the concept is good, and I like the choice of B/W, but would like to see the face just a bit better. |

Not exactly sure how this meets the challenge, is the person they are listening to talking to them about quitting smoking or are they not really listening because they are too busy smoking or ?????????? what?
The grain in this shot works very well for it. I normally don't like grain but it looks good with this shot. Makes it more realistic to me. A 6 |
