Not sure if I see the crowd part on the picture. But beyond that an interesting take on the competition of textures. Since you went with a square crop, I might have preferred the leaf in the center of the frame. I do like the shadow and light play. Maybe emphasize that a bit with a curves adjustment, concentrating more on the shadows?

Seems to be a stretch meeting the challenge.

This belongs on a t-shirt, *with* the title. Bonus point for a morning giggle. Might like a bit more space on top of the leaf but overall composition makes your point nicely, as your DOF kept enought detail to see that there are flakes.

The white balance is out. You have made the snow looks gray. Other than that, a nice shot.

looks hand held
as much as important to keep detail in the snow / it should be white'ish not grey
