In the crowded hall of Sensoji Temple, there are several omikuji fortune-telling desks.
A person pays ¥100 and shakes the canister until a numbered stick comes out. Then he opens the drawer with the same number and takes out a sheet of paper with the fortune on. Good luck, so-so luck, bad luck; what to expect in business, health, love life, finances, education, etc.
Then he fold the paper and tie it to a tree or wire frame outside somewhere.

Did you get a fortune? Nice shot ... reminds me of some of the herb shots in Chinatown here in San Francisco. I like the use of DOF here. I'm guessing the fortune seekers don't mind having their picture taken, eh?
