 Goldfish do NOT make very good models. I wanted him centered in the tank, with as much blue as possible surrounding him, but he wouldn't cooperate. He also wouldn't sit still anywhere but the bottom of the tank, and I didn't want the black frame in the picture. (which is also why its cropped as it is)

Blue posterboard behind the aquarium, and a lot of tweaking of the blue in aperture to get the color. the white dots are air bubbles on the side of the tank.

tell Frank i say hi (and i hope he's enjoying his new aquarium toys) :) and tell yourself i think you're sexy while you're at it. oh, and i greatly admire your skill... you captured Frank in all his gold-fishy glory, and he's never looked better :D

wow. i tried this EXACT same setup and everything..( mean exact when i say i had blue poster board and EVERYTHING...) anyway... i give you A LOT of credit for taking this gorgeous picture becuase i know firsthand how difficult it is to take those goldfish shots! honestly great job! i took about 200 shots and didnt even find one useable for this challenge so CONGRATS ON YOUR GREAT FINISH!

I think I would have made this a square crop, I don't see the bottom adding anything to the composition. The reflection from the tank was a very good idea though. :)
