 Photo taken in the studio of a noted Chinese folk art sculptor. This sculpture was chosen for the China Post stamp commemorating the Year of the Horse, 2002.

Processing in Photoshop: noise reduction, levels, shadow/highlight, hue/saturation, sharpen, crop, save for web.

Definitely fits the theme! Not sure how much control over the scene you had, but here's my 2 cents:
- Lighting could have been a bit better (needs more fill lighting or something)
- The colored horse could be a little bit more into the frame instead of at the edge of the frame.

I'm giving it a 7.

interesting ...hand painted? this is a cool idea, but i don't like the composition as it is. the horse at the bottom right the way it's rotated seems to break the nice flow you had going of the shapes of the others.

The lighting could be better. Perhaps some level adjustment. The color balloon is not stand out enough from the rest.
