a tad underexposed and the subject material isnt wholly interesting, or not presented in an interesting way. |

I get the impression that the taller one on the right is the leader and is snubbing the other bird with her nose in the air posture. I might have cropped out the far shoreline, but that would make the shot too wide. . . |

I don't blame them. Only another Muscovy would find him attractive! If you've got the detail I'd go for a tighter crop; the goose looks particularly haughty and I'd love to see that better. |

Try processing with some curves to bring out some of the darker areas. |

With few different species on the same frame, the "alone" subject is not clear. |
