 Felt this to be appropriate for conflict, not in any jingoistic sense but in the sense that what we understand and what is are at odds in a world that is at odds with itself.

... I don't like this shot.. mostly because I don't like the insinuation that islam is linked directly to terrorism. I also don't enjoy that these books are placed together in the shot.. The Koran in no way promotes terrorism.. No more than the bible, anyway. I am neither Islamic nor a Christian.. I really resent this photograph though. Far be it from me to penalize you for my individual beliefs/opinions.. A clean shot, well composed. 7.
