 Macro using reverse mounted 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Flash with shoot-through umbrella camera right, slaved to built-in flash (minimum power so as not to contribute to exposure). It was very overcast so essentially all illumination is from the flash.

Converted from RAW. Noise reduction. Cloned out a few spots on the leaf. Resize, smart sharpen and save for web.

a really shallow DoF, but it works. Hope this does well for you. Ilove how nicely everything falls out of focus too.

Depth of focus needs to be centered on the fly so that both his front and back are in focus.

He looks like he only has one eye. LOL Great narrow DOF. I hope yours is faring better than mine with a similar depth of field.
