 well... I hope this does ok. Didn't get to go all out with it like I wanted, it's the end of the semester and I have so much homework! Oh well... there will always be more self portraits!

I don't have lights any more so this was done with a regular old lamp. Hence it being so flat and boring. I took a bunch and this was actually not the chosen favorite of most people but I like it best, so there. :P

Your covering your 2nd most beautiful feature I think...were you telling someone to be quiet? lol...well, the clarity here is excellent, even with low lighting.

Monica, if I told you how sexy I think this shot is, I would lose my job and my wife and so I won't tell you...makes one want to kiss the screen right where you are pointing....

This is a great picture. With your dark eyes and dark hair I bet you would look great with a dark backgound and lighting focused on the center of your face.

A nice contemplative look, although the lighting seems a little defused, I would be tempted to over expose a little here, to emphasize the shhh'ness of the pose

Very intriguing! I think that if you are pointing to your fingers you should have a little but more of a pointing action. Actually it looks like you are saying shhhhhh. Also Maybe you should have been looking at the camera as of you were looking at the person saying kiss my lips. IMO the image could be a little sharper in the center but I really like the blur on the outer edge. Good luck with the challenge and just for the record I gave it a 7

Normally, I would want the eyes both sharp... but in this case, since the focus is your finger and lips, those should have been the sharpest, especially with such narrow DOF. However, it still is quite effective.

Nice picture, but I might like a slightly deeper depth of field; it seems like the right hand edge of your face drops out of focus a little too soon.

Ohhh, yes, now I see. Well it's only a cold sore - it'll clear up in a few days. :P LOL - just having fun. While I can't imagine a "bad" iphoto of you, this one is not the best I've seen. I think it's the position of the hand or finger. DoF and lighting are great though. Best of luck.

I really like your take on the challenge this year, you have such a beauty and are very photographic and I think you portrayed it nicely in this shot. Lighting is spot on and I like how you chose to compose it. Nice work.
