Great night shot. The shapes are really work well together, and you framed them nicely with the hotel in the background. Good choice for B&W, and obviously meets the challenge. 8 - chrisab. |

Very nice. The angles on the left look somehow off. I'll give an 8 for great depth of field. |

So very nice to see a photo thats definetly enhanced in b&w rather than just done so to make it look more 'artsy' |

Excellent detail. Would have liked to see the lights in color. 7 |

a very classy shot of something I'm much more used to seeing in bright, garish colour. Very effective. |

VERY nice. Only problem in composition is the hotel between lion and torch base. I would have exposed for just slightly less time. |

Wow ... great exposure ... I was in Vegas not too long ago and I took a shot from almost the same angle but it was during the day and my pic does not have the same impact as yours does ... so that will bump up your score :-) |

I like this shot, but I think I might have preferred a different angle. Not sure that having the Tropicana hotel in the pic adds to it as it seems to be two photos in one. The detail and quality of the lion and sculpture above are the more outstanding features in this photo. But, on the other hand, it looks like the lion is *defending* his territory...so six of one, half a dozen of the other here. Either way, I'll rate it as an 8... and it's a pretty interesting place to call *home* as well! ~Nee |

Very cool shot! Las Vegas? I'd love to go back there -- not even so much to gamble, but just to take pictures! I would be curious to see what the color version of this would look like, but I think it does nicely in B&W too. |

excellent black and white... When I view this photo, I ask myself why the photographer chose to use black and white instead of color? good shot... = 8 - jmsetzer |
