| something about this composition seems off to me, I don't know why. maybe if the gradient and space between the leaves were even it might flow better. A good study with light though IMO. |

| You name your image "simply red" but it's the black and white background with the unusual gradient that makes it for me. |

| I like how you've split the background between a lit, white surface and a fading grey into black. Too many images such as this have a sold 'look you guys, i've found pure WHITE' background, and the curve of the white with the curve of the leaves looks great. Also, the leaves are a stunning red. Great composition and capture--8 |
