I like it! The cropped head makes me look at his hands and the block. Perfect capture of childhood discovery. |

Very nice, Beau. This was one of my 9's, so it doesn't surprise me that these voters didn't think so. Nice work...as usual, bro.

I love the centered and symmetric crop. The high key for this is wonderful. |

Ha, nice. SHame you missed the top of the head though. Not sure about the toning either, the faded red doesn't do a lot for me... maybe blue would have been more in keeping with traditional baby pics... but who wants tradition? |

Don't usually go for baby photos but for this I make an exception |

sweet! I love it! But, why cut the top of his head off? That is the only negative I see here. |

I'm not usually big on baby photos, but this one is excellent. And the drool makes the shot cuter. The white background was a good choice. Very nice. And my coworkers liked it too. :) |

The high key feel is great, its a toss up for me if I want the top of the baby's head or keep the crop that I really like. Either way, you did a very god job of making a baby photo interesting, which isn't easy. :P 8 |

So many things I love about this photo.... the muted colors, the intensity on the child's face.... the baby gap socks.... the composition..... The things Im not fond of are the drool (I would have cloned that out) and the head cut off.... Very real potential to be a baby gap advertisement with a few minor adjustments :) I would have scored it higher with those adjustments. 7 |

Good HK portrait but don't like the cut of the head. 6 |

cute shot, maybe eye contact would have made this even better? |
