 a lot of work went into this setup - first, i painted the room yellow... well, i did - a long time ago... anyway, it really was a lot of effort, but to describe it will take a lot of time and won't really interest anybody... so, it is what it is...

Interesting idea, nice composition. It doesn't convey the message of conflict by itself.

I really like the angled lines of the hats and the way the person's head and mannequin's head are juxtaposed. It would have simplified the composition if you could have moved the woman slightly to the right so as to block out the feathers with her hat. The right side of the photo could have been cropped out to get rid of the extaneous yellow hats in the upper right and the white one in the lower right. That would have strengthened the image considerably, I feel, although I'm still confused as to what is clashing here...maybe because I'm a guy and not very fashion conscious. The intentional tilt of the camera adds a good effect. The complexion of the woman is not very flattering probably do to the harsh lighting from your flash(?) and there's a bit too much of a grainy look.
