 I pulled the IR cut filter out of my camera and put in an IR-pass in front of the sensor. I already had a good idea of where the portal to the pixies opened at night, so waited just before midnight. I got a few shots of the pixies, too, but they're either blurred or underexposed and would've sucked in the voting, so went with this one after I'd scared them off

This does look like a fairytale, it seems a little gray though so it is harder to see the detail, could use stronger highlights and shadows i think

Wow! I like the colors as well as the lighting. The mushroom stump is cool but would be neat to see maybe another perspective say with it bigger or closer to the view.

I love the idea of this. The trees being so light in the background are pulling my eyes away from the subject though.

Lovely composition and wide angle. Just not sure about the colour scheme, the white on the top of the trees and then the orange is a little distracting and takes the focus away from the throne, which itself could do with a bit of a tonal range boost to make it more dramatic in the otherwise fairly flat surroundings.

Interesting and eerie colouring. For me the only let down is the sky - it just doesn't sit right for me and somehow draws attention away from the rest of the scene...

very interesting find! I think a little dodging of the mushroom thing would have made it pop out. It seems to get lost in the shadows little bit.
