I don't know if this fits the challenge. My interpretation of the challenge was "take a picture of something/someone that people normally do not take notice of". I hope this works.

would have rather it been a speedier shutter, but i am sure lighting was hard

This is the kind of submission that I love, somebody's honest look at the category and the out of the ordinary ways of looking at things. We all take it for granted that the floors will be polished, but this is the man who makes it happen.

most people never see this function performed
the subject is in the center
crop out the right side and the focus needed to be sharper

Interesting idea. There is a lot of blur in the shot that distracts. Maybe a faster shutter? Just my opinion. :)
