 Not sure what happened here. All the other geese flew, but this one stayed near the blood spot and would not be intimidated. I was loosing light fast, SHQ, 3 Shot burst.

Your title 'makes' the concept of theme work. The image itself is somewhat confusing for me as the water the Goose is swiming looks to me like very shallow water retreating back into the main body of water. I like your picture and rated it high.

The blood in the water is creepy. This is a good shot, but I don't really see any conflict in it without the title. It just a canadian goose, some icey water, rocks, and what appears to be blood. With your title added I think maybe the other goose has been shot and killed, which just makes this rather, well, creepy. Luckily, I like creepy...7
