Turned to a channel that comes in badly on our TV and had a male and a female hand grab the remote control and try to pull it away from each other.

Nice shot, interesting take on the challenge and background.

Well done

okay!

I actually shot this same scene with a different image on the TV (couldn't get a satisfactory light on the hands), so obviously I think it's a good concept. The message of unity on the screen directly contradicts your theme, though. Good work.

You should have chosen something more interesting for the background. Otherwise a good idea and well executed. 6

Ha! Nice irony going on here.

Very well done. The hands and remote stand out really clearly with that background.

makes complete sense...I like this idea...good job...

but

I wish the TV had a more enjoyable image on it...the one portrayed is a little weak for the issue...like TV static could be a good way or even using PIP (Picture in Picture) to portray to conflicting tastes or something...but the control of the remote is very apparant

This is a great idea...happens all the time in my house, but I think it would have made a stronger statement if it looked as if they were really fighting over the remote

I like the subtle touch in the background - United We Stand - classic!

I love the double conflict and irony of this situation. The "United We Stand" in the background is a great touch, though the lines running through the screen are distracting.

A very common conflict in households around the world, no doubt and a very creative way of conveying the conflict. Extra point for that. The overall composition of the shot is well done, the hands in the middle and the cropping is almost perfect (the right seems just a bit off balance since more arm is showing) and it's too bad the television in the background didn't hold put to the digital shot. Maybe if you put it on a channel that was all snowy? A 7
