 Yes, this was a single image capture. Long exposure, total darkness, firing the flash via handheld remote. Took many many shots to get the positioning right!

Let's see.

RAW file,
used Lightroom for starters, cropped
shifted to CS3 to finialize.
Adjusted levels to darken the black shirt even more,
used a gradient layer mask,
then edited the mask a little more manually.

Then applied the steps to draganize the image found at //www.ascenicworld.com/2007/11/28/a-photoshop-tutorial-the-dragan-method-demystified/.

Resized for submission.

Idea is good, execution a bit poor, but nothing personal. I don't even know you so, don't start yelling "REVENGE". Too dark, the settings are ok, I can see it's sharp, focused... lighting even not bad, but overall is kind of dark.

I like your take on the SP. Lighting is a bit harsh on the shot in the middle, and I think you had a chance to make the shot a bit bigger. Other than that great work.

The concept is pretty old, so would have loved to see some new treatment to it. Technically too dont like the lighting, illuminates the features randomly, atleast would liked to see the three faces lit the same way. The pic can be made better
