Selective desat works well here, but what really makes the shot is your expression which reveals your personality. One of my 10s in the challenge.

Let's say if you'd keep your eye color instead of your lips, and still have rest bw, I think it would be much better. A beautiful face... could be better focusing I think, but good enough here. Interesting colors though. Show us if you can, with only your eye color after the challenge is over.

I don't like the selective color...just too overdone. If you desaturated it a bit and forgot about the border it would help.

Gotta say, I really don't like the border. The shot is pretty well done, but I find the border very distracting and feel it is actually pulling my eyes away from the image.
