 It's me! I just got new glasses after about 15 years, so I thought I'd wear them in this shot. I am standing right in front of an Alien Bee (400) with shoot through umbrella attached. Another AB400 to my front left. I was going for something different (at least for me) in the lighting and processing, and I've certainly achieved that.

Shot in RAW: adjusted exposure

PS:
Rotate
Crop
Cloned out the wires of the umbrella that weren't blown out
Slight cloning to tweak the lines of the cheeks a bit
Massive dodge and burn all over the place
Acidify action, dropped the opacity on the crazy curves layer
Lots of additional contrast
Selective color to bump up the blacks
Resize
USM (300/.3/0)
Save for web

The more I look at this the more it grows on me. There's an odd disconnect between the expression and the title :-)

This is a neat shot but I think the main lighting is off in the front. I do like how you have blown out the back but your face needs more light in my book.
