First snowfall and I think this was "Plan Z".

I'll add more details later but it's way too late now.

Edit: I drove all around looking to get snow captured in the light at it was falling. They are building a new Walmart near us and I drove out there but the lights were simply too bright to get the "white snow in lights against a black background". Other parking lots were the same. The few single lights I found had an awful background.

When I got home I pulled into the driveway, got stuck as usual, then pulled onto the grass to light up the yard to see what I could get a picture of. I tried to capture the beams of light with the snow but still didn't get the contrast I was aiming for. I tried a few other things but it was snowing pretty good by this time, it was late, and I was tired of holding the umbrella over my camera/tripod.

I converted to B&W and did some dodging & burning.

Looks like a shot out of some horror movie! The B&W choice was a good one and even though it is not your Plan A, I think it's still worked out good.

I like the use of B&W. It almost feels like an old movie where the bad guy is hold up in the woods and the cops flood the field with lights from the cars.

I like the perspective and the b&w. After all the traveling around you did, you sure managed to capture the snow falling quite well.

I like it. I think the tree is cool, as well. it almost doesn't look natural.

Love lit streaks of snow. The snow on the ground looks like ripples of water. So beautiful in b&w.

As weird as this may seem, I love the view of a snowscape in the headlights. I live in an area that's so beautiful when it snows and I love to drive around while the snow is making everything beautiful. VERY nice from my POV!

For whatever reason I really like this, not sure what draws me in so much. I think the corner of the car with the headlight on makes me think of some mystery movie or something.

For Plan Z, it's pretty darn good. This has a great noir feel to it, like at the end of the movie where we've finally reached the destination. The MacGuffin is here!

Well, I've gotta say that you put forth the effort to get a shot!

This is so haunting - I could see an ax murderer appear from the trees any moment now. Love the fresh snow look on the ground.

Just read others' comments. I like the headlight, actually - gives an interesting perspective.
