Hello from the Critique Club:
Since I couldnât vote in this challenge, this is the first time Iâve had a chance to look at your image. My first impression of this image was âI wonder how he did thatâ. I think this image is very well done and there is nothing technically that I can suggest for improvement. So if this image is so well done, why did it only score a 5.1? I believe that the voters were expecting to see real cars in this challenge and your score suffered for using a toy. I think your image is underrated and easily deserves to be a 6+ score in my opinion. Keep shooting and good luck in future challenges.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding this critique.
Tim

Not good. I only like the composition, the angle... Other than that this doesn’t' look like a car ad to me... technically not good either :( |

I'm not sure about the whole rain or water thing. It's kind of distracting to the eyes. BB |

Interesting shot and cool use of blur, though it kind of disappears at the top and loses its form. 6 |

Ferrari is a great brand - so flashy and beautiful. I am just not sure about the 'flames' or 'smoke' or whatever it is that is clouding the toy. |

I really like this for an F1 ad. After looking at your terrific shot I'd buy this car.... well, perhaps not enough money for that, but I'd like to have one of these in my garage! :)
I love your PP, it really captures the viewers eye! |

not really digging the toy-car shots in this challenge, but this is slightly better than the others. 6 |

Not my taste, and the blur is too much IMO |

This image is so close to being stellar but that gold glow just doesn't work for me. |

nice "light rain" effect here. Looks like a play car to me...or is it real? |

What is that stuff? For me, it just messes up the image, although it does add a little colour with the blues and greens. |

You are selling a F1 car? Nice and creative shoot. I would like to see more of a 1:1 scale shoot for this challenge. -5- |
