| That's a really cool sky, but I don't get a sense of place from this. If there was a bit more landscape I would give it a 10, but I'll have to take it down a point I think. I don't mark down a lot for that kind of thing, but it's a shame... as a standalone photo this is beautiful. I can see a slight indication of the buildings there on the horizon, but just not enough... oh well, 9 will have to do :) - lisae |

| Great sky, but the odd cropping and too dark of a landscape are detractions. It would have been great if you had shot a photo of the windmill closer up, with the sky behind it...then it would have show more of your *corner of the world* (which looks like a very interesting corner!). Our clouds around my area sure aren't as dramatic as yours...a good effort, but falls a bit short. Hope you'll try again and get that windmill as the focus in the photo next time. |
